A Canadian visitor visa is a great way to visit Canada for a short stay. Who Needs a Visitor Visa?

The type of travel document you will travel with the country that issued your travel document your nationality and how you will travel to Canada. If you do not have the proper documents, such as an eTA or visa, you may be delayed or prevented from boarding your flight to Canada.
What is aeTA (Electronic Travel Authorization)?
As of March 15, 2016, all travelers with passports from countries that are visa-exempt who enter Canada by air will need an eTA. The authorization is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for five years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.

How Long Can a Visitor Stay In Canada
Most visitors are allowed a six-month stay from the day they entered Canada. If the officer authorizes a stay of less than six months, they will indicate in your passport the date by which you must leave Canada. If you want to stay longer than your authorized stay, you should apply for an extension at least 30 days before the authorized end of your stay.
