1. Purpose of Consultation:
    The purpose of an initial consultation is to provide the RCIC with sufficient information to allow for a full analysis and comprehensive advice on immigration options, including estimated timeframes, legal fees, and costs.

  2. Method of Consultation:
    Depending on the type of consultation chosen by the Client, the RCIC shall provide the consultation to the Client by telephone call, video call, or in person. The consultation will last for such a period of time as necessary for RCIC to perform the services under this agreement, but in no event shall be beyond the duration-type chosen by the Client.

  3. Fees:
    The Client is obliged to pay the full fee for the Initial Consultation prior to the appointment. The Client chooses the type and duration of consultation service among the options offered on the website and makes the payment of the applicable fees upfront. The fee shall be paid into the RCIC’s designated account.

  4. Refund Policy:
    The fee for Initial Consultation is non-refundable under any circumstances.
    No-show by the Client: In case of a no-show by the Client, the money is considered to have been earned under this agreement at the commencement of the scheduled time of appointment. However, you can request for reschedule the appointment prior to the booked time.
    Rescheduling: If the Client wants to reschedule the appointment, a 24-hour advance notice is required. The RCIC permits one (1) time rescheduling of the consultation. The appointment timeslot shall be determined upon availability of the RCIC.

  5. Limited Scope:
    The services to be provided under this Agreement are limited to a single consultation. No Consultant-Client Representation relationship is intended to be established by this Initial Consultation Agreement. At the conclusion of the initial consultation there is no obligation for the Client to retain the RCIC. This agreement does not obligate the RCIC to act for the Client in any application or proceedings. Should the Client require further advice or representation from the RCIC following this initial consultation, the Client must sign a separate retainer agreement with the RCIC.

  6. Client Responsibility:
    The Client must provide the RCIC with such factual information and documentation as are required to perform the consultation. The Client must be accurate and honest and must inform the RCIC of all information, even if negative or adverse, which might be relevant to the advice provided by the RCIC in this matter. Failure to fully disclose all relevant information to the RCIC will impact the advice given by RCIC and may void this Agreement, or seriously affect the outcome of the application of the Client or the retention of any status that the Client may obtain.

  7. Advice current on date of consultation:
    The advice provided by the RCIC to the Client is based on the Canadian immigration law and policy current on the date of the consultation where relevant. The RCIC is not responsible or accountable for any change in government legislation or policy that may impact the processing of any subsequent application by the Client.

  8. No guarantee on outcome:
    The RCIC shall provide consulting services to the Client to the standard of a competent CICC member. The RCIC does not guarantee that she will be able to assist the Client in meeting his or her business, education, employment, or immigration goals.

  9. Confidentiality:
    The RCIC is required to preserve the confidence and secrets of the Client. This professional obligation exists to encourage candid and complete communications between the Client and the RCIC. All information and documentation provided by the Client and reviewed by the RCIC in the course of the consultation will not be divulged to any third party other than RCIC’s agents and employees, without prior consent, except as demanded by law.

  10. Applicable Law:
    This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

  11. Validation:
    Please be advised that the RCIC is a member in good standing with the regulatory body College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, he is bound by its By-laws, Code of Professional Ethics, and associated Regulations.

  12. Acknowledgment:
    By clicking the checkbox “I agree to the Terms and Conditions”, the Client will by that action agree to all the terms and conditions set forth above in this Initial Consultation Agreement and acknowledge that any further engagement of RCIC will require a further written agreement with different terms.
  13. Consultation Fee Credit with RCIC Services: Should you decide to engage our RCIC services after your paid consultation, rest assured that your consultation fee will be credited towards your professional service fee. This ensures that your initial investment does not go unused.
